CALL FOR TUTORIALS

22nd International Conference on Advanced Visual and Signal-Based Systems

Lecce, Italy | August 31 – September 3, 2026

The organizers of AVSS 2026 invite proposals for tutorials to be held in conjunction with the main conference. Tutorials will take place on August 31, 2026, offering participants an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of specific topics related to visual and signal-based systems.

We welcome proposals on emerging and interdisciplinary topics, including but not limited to:

Sensor-Centric: Smart Cameras, Deep Learning at the Edge, Multi-modal Sensors Processing-Centric: Action Recognition, Anomaly Detection, Biometrics, Re-identification System-Centric: Autonomous Systems, UAV-based Systems, Privacy-Enhancing Technologies, AI Ethics Application-Centric: Healthcare & Assisted Living, Environmental Monitoring, Smart Cities, Traffic Management New Frontiers: Multimodal Sensor Fusion, Generative AI for Surveillance, Large-Scale Models, Explainable AI Submission Guidelines

Tutorial proposals should be submitted as a single PDF file (2-4 pages) and include:

Title and Presenters: Names, affiliations, and brief biographies with photo Abstract: A short summary for the conference website Description: Topics to be covered, relevance to the AVSS community, and intended audience Format: Duration (half-day) and tentative schedule Materials: Any planned materials or hands-on components Past History: If previously presented, details on attendance and feedback Important Dates
